About
Hi there!
My name is Tania
I’m an ultrarunner, adventurer, storyteller… and a woman endlessly curious about what’s possible when we dare to go beyond the limits we once believed were set in stone.

I was born and raised in Mexico, and for most of my life, I never imagined I would become an ultrarunner, much less one crossing entire deserts. But step by step, race after race, I started saying yes to the unknown. To the uncomfortable. To the wildest version of myself.

In 2023, I became the first Mexican and Latin American athlete and the 9th woman in the world to complete the Grand Slam Plus, one of the toughest endurance challenges on the planet: running 1,250 km across the most extreme deserts on Earth : the Atacama in Chile, the Gobi in Mongolia, the Namib in Namibia, Antarctica, and the Sahara in Morocco.
All self-supported. All heart.
But here’s the truth, it wasn’t about just finishing races. It was about becoming. About meeting the version of me that refused to give up, even when everything hurt. About learning that growth lives in discomfort, and that we don’t need to be fearless, just stubborn enough to keep moving forward.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve run more than 35 ultramarathons around the world. Each one has taught me something new about grit, joy, heartbreak, humility, and the beauty of pushing through.
Today, I share that journey through different paths: The Ultra Happy Podcast, where we talk all things ultrarunning and life; Instinto Expediciones, a space to take women on unforgettable adventures through nature and self-discovery; and through motivational talks, where I speak from the heart about resilience, purpose, and becoming the person you never thought you could be.

I created this spaces not just to tell my story, but to walk alongside yours.
So whether you’re training for your first race, rebuilding after a fall, or just dreaming of something big… welcome.
I’m so happy you’re here.
Let’s keep running, discovering, and becoming — together.
